Greetings everyone,

I hope you are all doing well. This has become a transition year for the Trashmaster, somewhat unexpectedly. Although we will still be supported at our weigh-in by “Fisher’s of Men”, the orphanage that we partnered to support for the last five years has become a slave to a communist regime, making it ineffective. This year we will begin our support of “C.A.S.T. for Kids”. This is a great organization that serves special needs kids by putting on outdoor fishing events for them. Jay Yelas is the Executive Director of this organization. Many of our sponsors from the last several years are experiencing very difficult times and have been unable to offer the level of assistance they have in the past. (If any at all.) I really have to thank the sponsors that have stepped up to help get things moving. Our new title sponsor is Texas Flood. They have been with us as the big bass sponsor for a few years. Maverick Blasting & Services came on board last year and has taken on the Shirt sponsorship. Grit O&G joined us last year as well and have taken on sponsorship of the Big Bass pot this year. If you haven’t ever supportrd this event and of you have the ability to offer any level of sponsorship, the assistance would be greatly beneficial and appreciated. I have attached the breakdown of sponsorship levels and the sponsorship form. They both can be found on the website www.Trashmasterclassic.com

We do not have a gun raffle in the works this year, but we will sell $20 tickets for the 50/50 draw. Pretty good odds for what has been over $1000 pot in the past. Shirts will be available for sale all three days of the event or until we run out. They will look quite a bit different with all of the sponsorship changes. The shirt prices will have to be increased this year. We held the line as long as possible, but inflation not only caught up with us, but blew past us. I hope to keep them in the $35-40 range. They will be hoodies again this year except in 3X and 4X sizes. The shirts we order just aren’t available as hoodies in those petite sizes. Sorry.

Registration looks to be about on a normal pace. We has 62 teams last year and I would expect that we will be in that neighborhood again this year. Again, feel free to forward this email or registration info to anyone that you think may be interested/qualified (Upstream).

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Stay safe and God Bless,

Steve Gifford
